SOLITUDE

In the realm of time and the seven stages of life
The idea of being alone will strike.
Like the cry of a new born child.
From ashes to ashes and dust to dust,
As the Phoenix rises again from the Earth’s crust.
The soul but adamant of quenching it’s thirst
Again and again these thoughts repeat
For in solitude does the heartbeat?
Do we find peace in nature’s retreat?

I see solace in the whispers of the trees
I feel good in the gentle breeze.
I know that time is on the run,
Gathering peace when the day is done.
And in the petrichor my heart knows no bounds,
The symphony of the soul that astounds.
In this journey of life but solitude is profound,
The beauty of the Lotus standing it’s ground.

As I reflect on my thoughts in sanctity
The inner peace felt within gathering my identity.
I find solace in shedding tears
The solitude in me has been beating for years.
The embrace of solitude is not without pain,
As I find strength in God’s own game.

The symphony of solitude playing on my face,
So let me accept and gather in this embrace.
Emotions running high where the soul is free,
And let me wander in this decree.

Where the mind and soul meet
In a world where there is conflict of the heart
The solitude but sets us apart.
Solitude is but a choice and in this
silence I must find my voice,
In this world admist the noise.

I shy away these moments of pure gold
It nurtures me and restores peace,
a simple setting mould.
Here ideas take shape and inspiration grows,
Solitude provides an opportunity to explore.
A chance to step away from daily life,
In solitude does my heart survive.

Loneliness is but a fortitude
We learn to live because of solitude.
