Mumbai's streets whispered secrets of struggle and hope. A young Raghav sat alone, clutching a faded photo of his mother, Neha. His heart echoed with her promise: "Lord Ram will save us." But darkness had claimed his father, Nakul, and Neha's whereabouts remained unknown. Raghav's eyes closed, his whisper lost in the night: "Jai Shri Ram... save me, save my mother... lead us home."

Neha, a talented and beautiful dancer, had always dreamed of making a name for herself in the world of dance. Growing up in a loving family, she was encouraged by her parents to pursue her passion. Her mother, a former dancer herself, had taught Neha the intricacies of classical dance from a young age.

One fateful evening, Neha’s life changed forever. She met Nakul, a charming and handsome young man who claimed to be a successful businessman. They met at a local event where Neha was performing, and Nakul was immediately smitten by her beauty and talent.

Nakul wooed Neha with his charm and charisma, and soon they fell deeply in love. Despite initial reservations from Neha’s parents, who worried about Nakul’s background and intentions, the couple decided to get married.

Their wedding was a grand affair, with friends and family gathering to celebrate the union. Neha thought she had found her happily ever after, and Nakul promised to support her dancing career.

A year into their marriage, Neha gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named Raghav. Nakul was overjoyed, but soon his behavior began to change. He started drinking heavily, citing stress from his business.

At first, Neha tried to be supportive, thinking that Nakul’s drinking was a temporary phase. However, as the months went by, Nakul’s addiction worsened. He became increasingly irritable and abusive, often taking out his frustrations on Neha.

Despite her growing unease, Neha tried to hold on to the love they once shared. She hoped that Nakul would change, that he would realize the harm his addiction was causing to their family.

As Raghav grew, Neha struggled to balance her dancing career and caring for her son. Nakul’s abuse escalated, and Neha became trapped in a toxic relationship.

One fateful night, Neha performed at a function, mesmerizing the audience with her dance to “Ghar More Pardesi Aa.” The crowd cheered and whistled, and one man even hooted.

As she finished her dance, a man approached her and handed her some money, saying, “Your dance was great. If you agree to dance only for men in a pub, I’ll double your payment.” Neha was taken aback and felt uneasy.

She quickly took the money and left, where her 10-year-old son Raghav was waiting for her. Seeing his mother, Raghav’s face lit up, and Neha, forgetting her worries, hugged him and asked if he wanted ice cream.

After enjoying the treat, they headed home. Later that evening, Neha’s husband Nakul returned home drunk and demanded money from Neha. When she said she didn’t have any, Nakul became violent.

Raghav, seeing his mother being beaten, intervened, courageously telling Nakul that he had no right to hit her, especially since she earned the money that supported their family. Nakul slapped Raghav, calling Neha a “bad character” woman who pleased men for money.

Neha, devastated, defended herself, and Nakul’s anger escalated. He threatened to kill them if Neha didn’t provide money. After Nakul left, Raghav tended to Neha’s wounds, tears streaming down his face. He asked why they couldn’t leave this house, but Neha reassured him, telling the story of Lord Rama, saying their Ram would come and rescue them.

The next day, Raghav woke up to find Neha gone. He waited anxiously, praying to Ram for her return. Nakul returned, drunk and violent, demanding money from Raghav.

Days passed, and Nakul’s abuse continued. Raghav, hopeless, clung to the thought of Lord Ram saving them.

One day, Raghav ran away from home, carrying only his mother’s photo. Tired and hungry, he stumbled upon a Ram temple where food was being distributed. He ate and thanked Ram.

As night fell, Raghav sat in a park, tears streaming down his face. A man with malicious intentions approached, but Raghav escaped.

A kind woman, Kaliyani, rescued Raghav and took him home to her husband, Manohar. They listened to Raghav’s story and promised to help find his mother.

Unbeknownst to Raghav, Manohar and Kaliyani had ulterior motives. They planned to sell Raghav to Munna Bhai, a notorious criminal.

Raghav, oblivious, slept peacefully. The next day, Manohar and Kaliyani took Raghav to Munna Bhai’s den. Raghav was horrified and realized he had been sold.

Munna Bhai’s men beat Raghav, silencing his cries. Amidst the chaos, Raghav prayed to Ram for help, looking around at the other children, whose conditions were dire.

Munna Bhai threatened to cut off the hands of any child who didn’t bring enough money. Raghav’s heart sank, and he whispered another prayer to Lord Ram.

Days passed, and Raghav’s life became a nightmare. He was forced to beg on the streets, and any failure to meet Munna Bhai’s expectations resulted in brutal beatings.

Raghav’s hands trembled as he held the plastic cup, his eyes scanning the crowded streets for potential donors. The scorching sun beat down on him, relentless in its ferocity.

Munna Bhai’s menacing voice echoed in his mind: “Bring back 500 rupees, or face the consequences.”

Raghav’s stomach growled, protesting the emptiness that had become his constant companion. He hadn’t eaten since morning, and the prospect of another night without food loomed ominously.

As he begged, Raghav’s thoughts drifted to his mother, Neha. Where was she? Was she safe? Did she ever think of him?

A passerby tossed a coin into Raghav’s cup, breaking the spell of his thoughts. He murmured a grateful “thank you” but knew it was far from enough. The day wore on, the sun dipping into the horizon. Raghav’s cup remained woefully empty, and Munna Bhai’s deadline loomed.

Fear gripped Raghav’s heart as he envisioned the beatings, the curses, and the humiliation that awaited him. He quickened his pace, approaching strangers with a pleading gaze.

As night fell, Raghav returned to Munna Bhai’s den, his cup containing a meager 200 rupees. The consequences of his failure were inevitable.

Munna Bhai’s henchmen dragged Raghav to the backyard, their fists clenched. Raghav closed his eyes, praying to Lord Ram for strength. One day, Raghav was sitting alone in Munna Bhai’s den when he saw a girl sitting and crying, trembling with fear. Raghav went to her and asked, “Do you have a fever?”

The girl looked up at Raghav and asked, crying, “Will we ever go home? Will we ever escape this hell?” Hearing her words, Raghav’s eyes also filled with tears, and he remembered his mother. He thought to himself, “Mumma, where are you? Mumma, I want to meet you.”

Raghav held the girl’s hand and said, “Don’t cry, I’m with you. We’ll escape this hell together.” The girl looked at Raghav and smiled weakly. Raghav asked, “What’s your name?” “My name is Aasha,” she replied.

Raghav affectionately said, “Aasha, one day Lord Ram will come and save us, and we’ll escape this hell.” Aasha found new hope in Raghav’s words. She sat with him, and they supported each other. Raghav said, “Aasha, you’re a new hope for me. We’ll fulfill our dreams together.”

Aasha smiled and said, “Raghav, I’m with you. We’ll pray to Lord Ram and seek his refuge to escape this hell.”

Munna Bhai’s den began to see a new dream, a dream where Raghav and Aasha were happy together, a dream where they had no fear. One day, Aasha was taken away by one of Munna Bhai’s men, and Raghav couldn’t do anything to save her. In the evening, Aasha returned, crying, and sat in her place, her clothes stained with blood. Raghav was terrified seeing her condition.

Fearfully, he sat beside her and asked, “What happened to you? And whose blood is this?” Aasha cried, “I don’t know what happened. Those men hurt me, and it’s painful. Something wrong happened to me.” Raghav hugged Aasha and reassured her, “Lord Ram will make everything right.”

But this time, Aasha pushed Raghav away and said angrily, “If Lord Ram exists, why doesn’t He come? Why do you always lie to me?” Raghav explained, “Lord Ram exists because my mother told me so.” Aasha snapped, “Your mother was a liar, and she abandoned you!”

Raghav’s anger flared, and he shouted, “My mother isn’t a liar!” Munna Bhai’s men saw them fighting and brutally beat Raghav. The next day, when Raghav was sent to beg, he went to the temple and sat down. There, he saw children in school uniforms sitting in front of Lord Ram’s idol.

Seeing them reminded Raghav of his mother’s promise to send him to school when she had enough money. Raghav felt a new hope, thinking maybe his mother was indeed doing something for him. He prayed to Lord Ram in the temple, asking to be reunited with his mother.

When Raghav sat in the temple, the priest came and sat beside him, smiling and asking, “What are you asking from Lord Ram?” Raghav looked at the priest and replied, “What’s the use? Nothing ever happens.”

The priest smiled and pointed to school children, “See them? They have an exam today. Last night, they played outside the temple until morning, then came to Lord Ram to request passing grades.”

Raghav chuckled, “Priest, if they don’t study, Lord Ram won’t check their papers.” The priest patted Raghav’s head, “That’s true.” After the priest left, Raghav felt a strange sensation and picked up his bowl, returning to Munna Bhai’s den.

Raghav went to Aasha and apologized. Later, Munna Bhai demanded money from the children, but Raghav refused, showing courage. Munna Bhai angrily shouted, “How dare you defy me?” Raghav pulled out a knife and said, “You think you’re a big don, but you’re weak, using kids to beg for money. Your end will come, not by Lord Ram, but by my hands.”

Munna Bhai laughed, but Raghav cut the rope beside him, causing the ceiling fan to fall on Munna Bhai. Munna Bhai’s men caught Raghav and beat him, but the police arrived, stopping them. The police inspector praised Raghav, “You’re very brave.”

Raghav asked, “How did you know about us?” The inspector replied, “A priest informed us about the kidnapping and forced begging. We’ve rescued you.” Raghav saw the same priest who helped him in the temple, smiling and disappearing. Tears filled Raghav’s eyes as he said, “Lord Ram finally saved us.”

The police arrested Munna Bhai and his men, reuniting the children with their parents. Raghav and Aasha were sent to an orphanage since their parents’ whereabouts were unknown. Raghav told Aasha, “Lord Ram helps those who help themselves. To soar, one must jump before spreading wings.” Aasha smiled, and they lived happily in the orphanage.

The End.
